This course is for all persons, both individual and employees who need to understand employment equity and its purpose in an organisation. The training ensures that Employment Equity Committees understand their role and function. The programme aims to achieve equity in the workplace by promoting equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment. It will focus on the elimination of unfair discrimination and implementing affirmative action measures to redress the disadvantages in employment experienced by designated groups in the country.

- Understand the Employment Equity Act, including the recent amendments and their relevance to companies
- Understand the functions and responsibilities of Employment Equity Consultation Committees
- Know how to consult constructively with all staff on drawing up & implementing EE plans
- Learn about South African best practice to practically implement Employment Equity plans
